This Content & Copyright Policy explains the ownership, use, protection, and reporting procedures relating to content published on Discover Adelaide Korea ("DAK").

It applies to all users, businesses, contributors, and visitors using DAK.

Content on DAK may include:

  • AI-generated summaries

  • Images

  • Videos

  • Logos

  • Graphics

3. Ownership of DAK Content

Unless otherwise stated, all original DAK content, including:

  • Website design

  • Branding

  • Logos

  • Icons

  • Graphics

  • Software

  • AI-generated platform content created by DAK

  • Original guides written by DAK

is owned by DAK or its licensors.

Ownership of third-party content remains with its respective owner unless otherwise stated.

Unauthorised copying, reproduction, redistribution, or commercial use is prohibited.

4. User Content

Users retain ownership of the content they submit.

By submitting content to DAK, you grant DAK a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to:

  • Host

  • Store

  • Display

  • Reproduce

  • Format

  • Translate

  • Distribute

  • Promote

your content solely for operating, improving, and promoting the DAK platform.

This licence ends when the content is deleted, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate operational purposes.

Users represent and warrant that they have the necessary rights and permissions to submit the content they upload.

5. Business Content

Business owners are responsible for ensuring they have the legal right to upload:

  • Logos

  • Business names

  • Photos

  • Menus

  • Promotional images

  • Marketing materials

Businesses remain responsible for any copyright infringement arising from content they submit.

6. Australia Updates

DAK may publish summaries of publicly available information.

DAK's policy is to:

  • Create original summaries in our own words.

  • Credit the original source where reasonably possible.

  • Link users to the original publication where available.

  • Avoid reproducing copyrighted material beyond what is permitted by applicable law.

Whenever practical, users should consult the original source for complete information.

DAK does not claim ownership of the original source materials referenced in Australia Updates.

7. AI-Generated Content

AI-generated summaries and recommendations are created to improve accessibility and understanding.

They are not intended to replace the original source.

Users should not reproduce AI-generated content from DAK for commercial purposes without permission.

AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies and should be independently verified where accuracy is important.

8. Copyright Infringement

If you believe content published on DAK infringes your copyright, you may submit a copyright complaint.

Please include:

  • Your name

  • Contact information

  • Identification of the copyrighted work

  • Identification of the allegedly infringing content

  • Evidence of ownership

  • A statement made in good faith that you believe the use is unauthorised

DAK may request additional information where necessary.

Knowingly submitting false or fraudulent copyright complaints may result in action under DAK's policies.

9. Removal of Content

DAK may remove content where it reasonably believes that:

  • Copyright has been infringed.

  • The content violates applicable laws.

  • The content breaches DAK policies.

  • The content presents a significant legal risk.

Where appropriate, DAK may temporarily disable access while a complaint is reviewed.

DAK may remove or disable access to content without prior notice where reasonably necessary to comply with legal obligations or protect the platform.

10. Repeat Infringers

Users or businesses who repeatedly infringe intellectual property rights may have:

  • Content removed.

  • Upload privileges restricted.

  • Accounts suspended.

  • Accounts permanently terminated.

11. Third-Party Content

DAK may include links, embeds, or references to third-party content.

Ownership of third-party content remains with its respective owner.

Inclusion on DAK does not transfer ownership or imply endorsement.

Users should comply with the applicable terms and conditions of third-party services when accessing external content.

12. Fair Use and Legal Exceptions

Nothing in this Policy limits any rights or exceptions available under applicable copyright laws, including any permitted uses recognised by Australian law.

13. Reporting Procedure

Copyright reports should be submitted through DAK's official support channels.

DAK will review reports within a reasonable time and may contact the reporting party or the content uploader for additional information before making a decision.

Submission of a report does not guarantee that content will be removed.

14. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Content & Copyright Policy from time to time.

Material changes will be published on the DAK website.

Continued use of DAK after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
